Wanda Savy est née à Paris, de parents artistes. Sa première vocation fut le ballet. Elle obtient un premier prix au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris puis devient membre de l'Opéra Garnier. Cherchant à élargir son répertoire, elle rejoint ensuite des compagnies prestigieuses telles que le Ballet National de Marseille, sous la direction du chorégraphe de renommée internationale Roland Petit, puis l'Opéra National du Ballet du Rhin, où elle danse en soliste. Après l'art du mouvement, Wanda Savy se tourne vers la peinture abstraite, alors qu'elle vit entre la Suisse et les Etats-Unis aux côtés de Paul Degen, illustrateur et sculpteur. De retour à Paris, son parcours artistique prend une autre tournure, évoluant vers des formes plus figuratives. Le regard devient finalement le thème majeur de sa recherche et s'impose peu à peu comme une véritable signature. Son approche unique de l'expression humaine, concentrée sur le regard, dévoile l'univers intérieur de ses modèles vivants, par une technique extrêmement précise, d'un réalisme saisissant.	Wanda Savy was born in Paris, into a family of artists. Her first vocation was classical ballet. She graduated with a first price at the National Conservatory of Paris and became a member of the Paris Grand Opera troupe. Looking to expand her expressive range, she then joined some of France's most prestigious and innovative dance companies, such as the Ballet national de Marseille under the direction of the internationally renowned choreographer Roland Petit, and the Opera national du Rhin Ballet, where she danced as a soloist. Following her celebrated dance career, Wanda Savy turned to abstract painting while living between Switzerland and New-York with the illustrator and sculptor Paul Degen. After moving back to Paris, her artistic path took another turn, evolving into more figurative forms. The gaze finally became the major theme of her painterly research and gradually emerged as her signature work. Her unique approach to the human expression, which focusses on the gaze, unveils the inner universe of her live models through an extremely precise, strikingly realistic technique.
